“A’ishah (Allah be pleased with her), wife of the prophet (saws ), said ; if the Messenger of Allah (saws) had seen what the women have invented, he would have prevented them from visiting the mosque (for praying), as the women of the children of the Israel (people of book) were prevented.
Yahya (the narrator) said; I asked “Umrah ; were the women of Israel prevented?
She said: yes.
