Virtue of fasting (roza)

Assalam alaikum warahmatullahe wabarkatohu
Dear brothers and sisters,we all used to fast , either fasting of Ramzan or any other voluntary fast but
Do you know the vertue of roza or fasting,
What benefits we get if we observe fasting
Let us know about that in the light of teaching of Prophet Muhammadﷺ

Vertue of Roza

Mutarrif, from the tribe of Banu “Amir bin Sa’sa’ah narrated that “Uthman bin Abu al As Ath-Thaqafi invited him to drink some milk that he poured for him. Mutarrif said:

“I am fasting.” “Uthman said: “I heard the Allah’s Messenger (saws) say: “Fasting is a shield against the Fire just like the shield of anyone of you against fighting.
‏ الصِّيَامُ جُنَّةٌ مِنَ النَّارِ كَجُنَّةِ أَحَدِكُمْ مِنَ الْقِتَالِ ‏”

‏ ‏‏Sahih (Darussalam)

Sunan ibn majah.  , Hadith 1639
Book no 7 Hadith no. 2

 Conclusion 👇

Fasting is a shield against the Fire just like the shield of anyone of you against fighting whether it is obligatory or voluntary
If one is invited for eating and drinking, it is not necessary to break the voluntary fast to accept the invitation.
Telling someone about one’s own good deed for justifying something is not
showing of

Ar-Raiyan is for people observing Saum

Narrated Sahl:

The Allah’s Messenger (saws) said, “There is a gate in Paradise called Ar-Raiyan, and those who observe fasts will enter through it on the Day of Resurrection and none except them will enter through it.

It will be said,(to the people who used to fast)
‘Where are those who used to observe fasts?’ They will get up, and none except them will enter through it. After their entry the gate(Ar-Raiyan)  will be closed and nobody will enter through it

 Conclusion 👇

Rayyan  is a door of Paradise which means ‘Full with water’. A fasting person bears the pang of hunger and thirst, and beanng thirst is harder
than hunger, therefore, the door appointed for the fasting people is called ‘the door full with water,’ or the ‘Well-Watered Door’.
Along with the performance of obligatory worship, one should also perform voluntary worship proven in the Sunnah, according to one’s best capability.Taking care of voluntary actions is a source of entering Paradise.
(whoever enters it will never thirst again)
