Regarding Taking Revenge

Do you know what islam teaches about taking revenge, what is good according to Islam, let us know about that in the light of teaching of Prophet Muhammadﷺ

Revenge 👇

Hadith     Narrated Sa’id ibn al-Musayyab (once upon a time)  While the Messenger of Allah (saws ) was sitting with some of his companions, a man reviled hazrat Abu Bakr (ra) and insulted him. But Abu Bakr (ra) remained silent. He insulted him 2 nd time, but Abu Bakr (ra) controlled himself. He insulted him 3rd time and Abu Bakr (ra) took revenge on him. Then the Messenger of Allah (saws) got up when Abu Bakr took revenge.

Abu Bakr said: Were you angry with me, Messenger of Allah?

The Messenger of Allah (saws ) replied: An angel came down from Heaven and he was rejecting what he had said to you (on your behalf ). When you took revenge, a devil came down. I was not going to sit when the devil came down.

Conclusion 👇

Actually Islam discouraged taking  retaliation  Islam likes forgiveness and showing Mercy even if the person has control to take revenge

Since if a person retaliate Shaitan become happy because he like separation among people.

If we forgive other even on their misbehaving, may be in future he or she realised that and due this your respect and status in his heart will Increased, and also Almighty Allah show Mercy upon you because of that.

It will also beautify our social environment
