Assalamoalaikum warahmatullahe wabarkatohu
 Dear brothers and sisters we are well aware that in our society and community, there are people who are well settled but don’t marry
Some of people don’t marry because they are busy in earning name ,fame and money
Some of people don’t marry and give excuses that they are religiously​ committed
Some people make illegal relationship but don’t marry and gives different excuses
So let us know what islam says about marriage and at what age and situation a person should marry

order of marriage / Nikah

Abdullah (b. Mas’ud) (Allah be pleased with him) reported that Allah’s Messenger (saws ) said to us:

0 young men, those among you who can support a wife (financially and physically) should marry, for it restrains eyes (from casting evil glances) and preserves one from immorality;
but he who cannot afford It should observe  (voluntary) fast for it is a means of controlling the sexual desire.
Sahih Muslim
Book16, Hadith 3

narrated from Aishah (ra) that the Messenger
of Allah (saws) said:
Marriage is part of my sunnah, and whoever does not follow my sunnah has nothing to do with me.
Get married, for I (Prophet pbuh) will boast of your great numbers before the nations. Whoever has the means, let him get married, and whoever does not, then he should fast for it will diminish his desire.”

Grade Hasan 
Sunan ibn majah  Book 9, Hadith 2


Anas (Allah be pleased with him) reported that some of the Companions of Allah’s Apostle (saws) asked his (i.e. Prophet’s) wives about the acts that he (Prophet pbuh) performed in private. Someone among them (among his Companions) said:

I will not marry women; someone among them said: I will not eat meat; and someone among them said: I will not lie down in bed ( meaning doing voluntary prayer continiousally and due to this don’t sleep ).
He (the Holy Prophet pbuh) praised Allah and glorified Him, and said: What has happened to these people that they say so and so, whereas I (Prophet pbuh )observe prayer and sleep too; I observe fast and suspend observing them; I marry women also? And he who turns away from my (Prophet’s  ) Sunnah, he has no relation with Me

Sahih Muslim   Book 16, Hadith 6 

 Conclusion 👇

* From the mentioned hadith of Prophet Muhammadﷺ here we came to know that if a person become capable  financially, mentally​ and physically then he should marry
* In cases of girl if a girl mature enough and at the age of marriage ,then her parents or guardians Should arrange her marriage
* In islam it is strictly prohibited that even if a person is capable financially and physically. and he should not marry.
* Contrary to christenity , Islam recommend for marriage and tell that ” Nikah / marriage is half of deen ” so a good person is the one who should marry if he is capable financially and physically.
* Doing Nikah / Marriage is sunnah of Prophet pbuh and if a person is capable both physically and financially then he should do marriage or Nikah
