وَأَنَّ ٱلْمَسَٰجِدَ لِلَّهِ فَلَا تَدْعُوا۟ مَعَ ٱللَّهِ أَحَدًا
And [He revealed] that the masjids are for Allah, so do not invoke with Allah anyone.
Abu Hurairah the Messenger of Allah said
“When (the Iqâmah) for prayer is called, do not come rushing rather come in a tranquil manner. Whatever you catch up with pray, and whatever you miss, complete it. For when one of you is heading towards the prayer, he is in a state of prayer
It was narrated from Jabir bin ‘Abdullah that:
The Messenger of Allah said: “Whoever builds a mosque for the sake of Allah, like a sparrow’s nest for Allah or even smaller, Allah will build for him a house in Paradise.”

Places Where it Is Disliked To Perform Prayer
narrated that Abu Sa’eed Khudri
“The Messenger of Allah said:
‘All the earth is a mosque, except for graveyards and Hammam.

Masjid simply means a place of prayer where a Muslim can pray
It is a special gift for the ummat-e-mustafa that for them all the earth is consider as a masjid except bathing area or toilet area and graveyard wherever he is and the time of prayer come he can pray
“The Messenger of Allah forbade buying and selling in the mosque, and reciting poetry in the mosque.”
Grade: Hasan Sunan Ibn Majah 749
Masjid is a special building which is built only for the remember Allah , it is not a market
Therefore buying and selling is prohibited in masjid
Which Mosque Was Built First
narrated that Abu Dharr Al-Ghifari said:
“I said: ‘O Messenger of Allah! Which mosque was built first?’ He said: ‘Al-Masjid Al-Haram (in Makkah).’ I said: ‘Then which?’ He said: ‘then Al-Masjid Al-Aqsa (in Jerusalem).’ I said: ‘How many years between them?’ He said: ‘Forty years, but the whole earth is a mosque for you, so pray wherever you are when the time for prayer comes.

from Aishah RA that:
The Messenger of Allah commanded that mosque to be built in (Ad-Dur) villages, and that they be purified and perfumed..

Prohibition Of Making Lost-and-Found Announcements In The Mosque
It was narrated from Sulaiman bin Burdah that his father said:
“The Messenger of Allah performed prayer, then a man said: ‘Who was looking for the red camel?’ The Prophet said: ‘May you not find it! The mosques were built for that for which they were built.
Grade: Sahih Sunan Ibn Majah 765
It was narrated from ‘Amr bin Shu’aib from his father, from his grandfather that:
The Messenger of Allah forbade making lost-and-found announcements in the mosque.

Abu Humaid As-Sa’idi
“The Messenger of Allah said: ‘When anyone of you enters the mosque,
let him send peace upon the prophet,
then let him say:
Allahummaftah li abwaba rahmatika
(O Allah, open to me the gates of Your mercy)
And when he leaves, let him say
Allahumma inni as’aluka min fadlika.
(O Allah, I ask of you from Your bounty)

Abu Hurairah The Mesenger of Allah said:
When anyone of enters the mosque, let him send peace upon the Prophet, then let him say:
(O Allah, open to me The gates of Your mercy)
And when he leaves, let him send peace upon the Prophet and say:
(O Allah, protect me from the accursed Shaitan)

Sahih Muslim 1655
narrated that Abu Qatadah the Companion of the Messenger of Allah , said: “I entered the
Masjid and the Messenger of Allah was sitting among the people, so I sat down. The Messenger of Allah said: ‘What kept you from praying two Rak’ah before you sat down?’ I said: ‘0 Messenger of Allah, I saw you sitting and the people sitting.
He said :
When one of you enters the Masjid let him not sit down until he has prayed two Rak’ah.
Sahl bin Sa’d As-Sa’idi said:
“The Messenger of Allah said: ‘Give glad tidings, to those who walk to the mosques in the dark, of perfect light on the Day of Resurrection.
Grade: Hasan Sunan Ibn Majah. 780
Narrated Ibn Abbas that The Prophet said:
“Whoever hears the call and does not come, his prayer is not valid, except for those who have an excuse.“
Grade: Sahih Sunan Ibn Majah 793
Abu Hurairah that: The Prophet said:
A muslim does not regularly attend the mosques to perform prayer and remember Allah, but Allah feels happy with him just as the family of one who is absent feels happy when he comes back to them.”

It was narrated that ‘Abdullah bin ‘Amr said:
“We performed the Maghrib (prayer) with the Messenger of Allah, then those who went back went back, and those who stayed, stayed. Then the Messenger of Allah came back in a hurry, out of breath, with his garment pulled up to his knees, and said: ‘Be of good cheer, for your Lord has opened one of the gates of heaven and is boasting of you before the angels, saying:
“Look at My slaves; they have fulfilled one obligatory duty and are awaiting another.”
