Assalam alaikum warahmatullahe wabarkatohu
In our day to day life we give charity, while giving charity we some times notice that when we have given charity,
we listen (people around us told us or to the someone else) that to whom i have given, he or she is not deserve for that, he is able to earn , he is rich enough or he is a bad people etc and so on
Sometimes it is actually so, but sometimes it is not so.
That situation sometimes give us tension or we afraid that whether our charity is gone in a wrong hand or our reward get lost even if i have given with good intentions.
So let us know in light of authentic teaching of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ , whether our reward will consider or not if we give charity with good intentions and only for shake of Almighty Allah, and to help needy , poor etc.
Abu Huraira reported Allah’s Apostle (ﷺ) as saying:
A man expressed his intention to give charity, so he came out with charity (sadqa) and placed it in the hand of an adulteress.
In the (next ) morning, the people were talking and saying: charity was given to an adulteress previous night 🌃.
He (the giver of Sadaqa) said: 0 Allah, to You be the praise-to an adulteress.
He then again expressed his intention to give charity (sadqa); so he went out with the charity and placed it in the hand of a rich person.
In the (next) morning the people were talking and saying:
Charity (sadaqa) was given to a rich person. He (the giver of charity) said: 0 Allah (swt), to You be the praise-to a well-to-do person.
He then expressed his intention to give charity (sadqa), so he went out with charity and placed it in the hand of a thief.
In the (next) morning, the people were talking and saying: Charity was given to a thief.
So (one of the persons) said: 0 (Almighty) Allah, to You be the praise (what a misfortune it is that charity has been given to) the adulteress, to a rich person. to a thief!
There came (the angel to him) and he was told:
Your (sadqa) charity has been accepted.
As for the adulteress (the charity might become the means) whereby she (adulteress) might restrain herself from fornication.
(and ) The rich man might perhaps learn a lesson and spend from what Allah (swt) has given him, and the thief might thereby refrain from committing theft.

In-book : Book 12, Hadith 99
* From the above hadith we see that a person give charity with good intentions but
unfortunately he has given to a adulteress, a rich person, and third time he given to a thief unknowingly,
Then a angle came (in the form of mankind)
and give him glad tidings that his charity accepted (because he give charity with good intention and from his lawful earning)
* Therefore if we see someone needy, poor,or beggers ,who ask for help ( in the form of money or any other form ) we should help them as for as possible,
* Some time they are actually needed or may be sometime it is not so
But we don’t afraid about that our reward Insha Allah will be confirmed if we give it with good intention and from lawful earning.
