• Charity , How much rewards we get ?

Welcome all of you with Islamic greeting
” Assalam alaikum warahmatullahe wabarktaohu”Dear brothers and sisters, we often listen about giving charity,

Almighty Allah recommended us for giving charity in the Glorious Qur’an

Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) recommend us for giving charity

Our Islamic schoolers recommend us for giving charity in the way of Almighty (helping poor, giving food to hungers, help as for as possible to the needed persons etc. )

Also obliviously being a good human beings we give charity regularly or occasionally

But do ever we thought that what and how much rewards we gets from Almighty Allah (swt) ?

How we benifited by giving charity to the others?

And why should we give charity ?

So let us find answers of above questions in the light of Glorious Qur’an and authentic teaching of Prophet Muhammadﷺ (along with reason and Logic)

Almighty Allah says in Glorious Qur’an

Al-Baqarah 2:261

The example of those ( people) who (give or ) spend their wealth in the way of Allah (swt) is like a seed [of grain] which grows seven spikes; in each spike is a hundred grains. And Allah (swt) multiplies [His reward] for whom He wills. And Allah (swt) is all-Encompassing and Knowing

And also Prophet Muhammadﷺ teaching us-

Hadith
‏ ‏‏
Abu Huraira reported Allah’s Messenger (Muhammad ﷺ) as saying:

If a person gives as Sadaqa the equivalent of a date from that (earning) earned honestly, for Allah accepts that which is lawful, the Lord would accept it with His Right Hand, and even if it is a date, it would foster in the Hand of the lord (Almighty Allah), as one of you fosters his colt, till it becomes bigger than a mountain.

Sahih Muslim 1014 a
In-book : Book 12, Hadith 79

* From the above verse of Glorious Qur’an and  teaching of Prophet Muhammadﷺ we came to know that-
If we give charity regularly or occasionally from our lawful earning then Almighty Allah give us seven hundred times more reward for our single unit of charity (This is mercy of Almighty Allah upon his slaves)

Allah gives an example of this
As a farmer drop a seed in his land then when plant came into existence from that seed
its has seven  spikes and
in each spike there is a hundred grains

So from single seed Almighty Allah give to the farmer 700 /- seeds

In the same way Almighty Allah give us seven hundred times more reward than our good deeds
